Boat Rentals
Rentals at Jordanelle State Park come from Jordanelle Rentals and Marina, the park's official concessionaire, based at the Hailstone Marina. It rents fishing boats, pontoons, ski boats, jet skis, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, and runs the general store and pro shop beside the marina. Utah State Parks doesn't publish rental prices, so check rates and book directly with the company at 435-615-7397. Every vehicle entering the park also pays the park's day-use fee, $20 from May through October.

What You Can Rent
- Fishing boats
- Pontoon boats
- Ski boats
- Jet skis
- Kayaks
- Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs)
Everything launches from Hailstone, where the main ramp has eight lanes and a separate ramp serves jet skis and paddle craft (Boating & Marina). The rental company is a private business; this guide isn't affiliated with it, and its hours, prices and age or license rules come from the company, not the park.
The Marina Store and Pro Shop
The general store and pro shop next to the marina stock watersports gear, fishing tackle, boating accessories, life jackets, anchors, ropes, ice, firewood, bait and snacks. It's also where to buy firewood, since gathering it in the park is prohibited. The Marina Store closes for the winter (Hours & Fees).

Lessons and Tours
- Park City Sailing has run sailing lessons and races at Jordanelle since 2008, including junior sailing programs and weekly Laser and Elliot races.

- Wasatch Mountain Institute runs nature and science programs out of the Rock Cliff Nature Center (Rock Cliff).
Bringing Your Own Board
If you paddle often, the park rents 24 paddleboard storage lockers near the Sand Pavilion at Hailstone for $40 a month, May 1 to October 31. Request one through the form on the Boating and Marina page or email jordanelle@utah.gov. Non-motorized storage is $30 a month.
Before You Go
